Childcare and household management combined in one experienced, trusted role
School collection · homework support · activities · term time arrangement
Our five-stage vetting
Face-to-face assessment of experience, character, child development knowledge and professional manner. We meet every candidate before any introduction is made.
Every nanny holds a current DBS certificate before any placement begins. No exceptions. We process and verify this ourselves.
No gaps left unexplained. We verify employment history in full — with the families who employed them, not just written references.
We speak to previous employers directly. Written references alone are never considered sufficient for a childcare placement.
Paediatric first aid, NNEB or equivalent qualifications verified. Right to work in the UK confirmed and documented.

Employment law & PAYE
Most families are surprised to learn that nannies are employees in law, not self-employed. This has important legal and financial implications — and we help you understand them fully before any placement begins.
There is no legitimate way to treat a regular nanny as self-employed. Attempting to do so risks significant HMRC penalties and back-tax liability. The obligations are clear, manageable, and best set up before the first working day.
What happens after placement
Placement is not the end of our involvement — it is the beginning of a supported, ongoing relationship.
We call after week one and month one to ensure the placement is settled, both sides are happy, and any early questions are answered.
If a placement does not work out within six months for any reason, we find a replacement at no additional fee. No questions, no delay.
Any concern at any stage — a question about a contract, a difficulty with the arrangement — we are your first point of contact throughout the placement.
